From our test, we found that yes. YES you can get a real film look. The caveat is that REAL film is not clean.

There are tons of reasons why film can look the way it does

• Limited color temperature adjustment

• Limited ISO adjustment

• Light Leaks

• Artifacts from development

• Which method you use in scanning

There are a large amount of factors that bring a film photo to life. Dehancer accurately emulate film, but without the limitations of those - so images may look different from that alone!

Although there is some adjusting and some getting used to the software, you can absolutely get the film look with Dehancer.
